I missed last
Teaser Tuesday because I was away volunteering at a camp for abused kids. I know, where are my priorities, right? But, none the less, I am back this week with a fan-flipping-tastic teaser for you straight from the pages of
Something Wicked by Alan Gratz.

"The Highland festival was officially open for business, but there was no one here. What had been busy paths the night before were almost deserted.
"'It's like church night at the Roman coliseum around here,' I said," (p. 85).
Oh, how I do love my Horatio Wilkes-delivered witty comments. This book, the second in the
Horatio Wilkes mystery series, follows up with our favorite snark-delivering teenage mystery solver who is helping his friends Mac and Beth solve the crime of the death of Mac's maternal grandfather, Duncan MacRae, at the Scottish Highland Fair. Kilts, bagpipes, fortune tellers, and swords abound in this modern YA re-telling of Shakespeare's
Macbeth.

Never heard of that author!
Tuesdays: Teasers/Whereabouts
Hey, I'm really interested in this book! I teach Macbeth to high school students, see.:)
Thanks for the teaser!
That sounds like an interesting book. I much prefer the stories that are based in Shakespeare but more modern so they are easier to read and digest.
