My husband really likes the Rick Riodan books. Although he isn't too hot in this new Jason character... is that his name? Anyway, he thinks Percy Jackson could kick his butt. Or something like that?
You're kidding me, right? Percy kick Jason's butt? Not a chance. Jason's a Roman demigod. He was raised by WOLVES. Hard core, that one. (I'm expecting a good throw down in the next installment though.)
By the way, you're the media specialist... shouldn't you be the one with opinions on the MG novels? :)
How's the pregnancy going? Swimmingly?
Just wondering, who bathed in the River Styx?
(my hubby wanted me to say that)
Baby is doing great!!! :)
I believe that Jason's memory loss may prevent us from knowing that he, too, was bathed in the River Styx... as that appears in Roman mythology as well. (Although I'm not assuming so, since the original Jason wasn't.)
Good to hear about baby! When are you due?
I'm off work today because the University closed the campus due to the winter weather. (Something good DOES come out of this.)
